A few years back, a bit after I converted AD&D v1 to Hero and the fairly pleasant TSR module inspired campaign, I decided to go for a more original "personal" game. The current story takes place in the world of Midland, "midway between the gods above and the dark evil below". I'll eventually get some more background info online, really...

The basic ground rules of what the campaign is about. This is taken from the Hero system rulebook, but with little modification can be used for nearly any system.

The initial character design had a number of restrictions on it; a character designed for the game as it is will not be limited in this was. Due to this, I have an addendum to design characters for the current level of the game.

The amount of money one starts out with, as well as other information about cash. I tend to give characters their level times the amount they would have on hand as starting wealth.

See the characters in the game.

The gods of Midland I based on the roles actors have played, and the stereotypes those roles hold.

See some maps of the world.

Here is some info on the cities in the Vale, the home of the game.

As the game has progressed, we find that there is a conflict brewing. Here is a list of groups the party has run into, in varying ways, and how they see these groups.

This quick_summary is ever so slightly dated, but not too bad. It gives one a fairly good idea of where the campaign is at the present time. This list of synopses is also a little dated, and not complete, but hopefully helpful. It also brings out a point: this campaign has a planned, definite end. Don't think that just because the "schedule" is 65% done that the campaign necessarily is, though.
